Hi, I'm Kat.
I'm a Senior Art Director at FCB Aotearoa in Auckland with my Creative Partner Claire.

I started my career back in 2013 as a little ad baby at DDB after studying at AdSchool the year prior. Since then, I've been fortunate enough to have worked at the biggest and brightest agencies in the world; right here in New Zealand. Ha.
I'm still in awe after all this time, that an industry exists where we actually get paid to come up with ideas. And these ideas have the power to make people laugh or cry, to fall in love with a brand, change consumer behaviour. Or even bigger than that...change the world for the better. That shit right there; exciting.
On top of the day to day biz, I'm also extremely passionate about education and awareness of the gender spectrum, as well as diversity in all its forms. I was honoured to be selected as a delegate for the Google Rare 2020 Masterclass as well as a panelist for Omnicom's Open Pride Trans-Tasman talk about the importance of pronouns for International Pronouns Day.
I guess this is where I'd typically toot my horn - specifically about work... But me, being a self-confessed sentimental hoarder - I'll let my colleagues, past and present toot it for me.

"Kat is without a doubt, without exception, without any hesitation. one of the loveliest, most talented and beautiful people I have ever met. I've loved ever minute of working with her. She's super human. I mean sooooo fucking human. It makes me feel like I should up my human-game super quickly. And her art direction is brilliant. I mean B.R.I.L.L.I.A.N.T. Inciting. Lush. Adaptable. Irreverent. I fucking love the work she does. She's a true creative."

"Kat is so understanding, kind and caring. Endless generosity. And has implemented real change in the agency. Also, her work and work ethic is amazing."

"Kat is a breath of fresh air. She has been a part of starting so many conversations that weren’t happening before, and it makes for us all feeling more included and accepted. She’s always willing to help, always putting in 130%."

"We need more people like Kat."

*Toot, toot*
